OUR LEADERSHIP

Eduardo de Guardiola formed the real estate investment company, Vista Residential Partners, in 2000 with a view toward creating a uniquely efficient and profitable organization for the ownership, management, and development of multifamily assets throughout the Southeast. Prior to 2000, he served as President and a Director of the Focus Group companies, a company that had a similar initiative. In 1998 Mr. de Guardiola negotiated, directed, and engineered a large disposition of assets having a value of $187 Million Dollars, to two major REIT’s. Under de Guardiola’s leadership, Vista built or acquired over 60 assets totaling approximately 14,000 units valued in excess of $1.6 billion.

Mr. de Guardiola has over 30 years of experience in all facets of real estate management and development, including residential and retail. His responsibilities have included acquisitions, dispositions, lease negotiations, joint venture documentation, financial analysis, and management. Mr. de Guardiola holds a BA and JD degree from Florida State University.

The day-to-day operations and management of Vista are now controlled by the senior partners of the firm. While Mr. de Guardiola no longer plays an active role in the Company, he still serves on the Investment Committee and left the firm with an extremely strong balance sheet that sets up the next generation of leaders with ample capital to deploy in future investments.
