Scott Hartley
Managing Director – Capital Markets
Scott Hartley joined Vista Residential Partners in 2023 and currently serves as Managing Director of Capital Markets. In this role, Scott is responsible for leading all capital markets activities including executing on debt and equity financing activities, developing and maintaining relationships with lenders and investors, and managing the disposition of assets.
Prior to joining Vista Residential Partners, Scott was an investment professional at Nationwide Insurance where he was responsible for originating mezzanine loans, preferred equity investments, and joint-venture equity investments in real estate development projects across the US. During Scott’s time at Nationwide, he was involved in investing over $1.8 billion of Nationwide’s general account in over 115 developments including multifamily (over 26,000 units), industrial (over 2.5 million SF), office (over 1.4 million SF), retail (over 1.0 million SF), and student-housing projects (over 2,500 beds).
Prior to joining Nationwide, Scott spent time as an investment associate at Peak Property Group, a Coastal Ridge Company.
Scott attended The Ohio State University where he obtained a BSBA degree with dual Finance and Real Estate specializations. Scott holds a real estate license in the state of Ohio and is a CCIM designation holder.
