VISTA RESIDENTIAL PARTNERS ANNOUNCE GROUNDBREAKING FOR GREENWAY VISTA, A 312-UNIT COMMUNITY IN COLUMBUS, OH

Columbus, OH – Vista Residential Partners, a national multifamily development firm, has broken ground on 25 acres on Shannon Road in Columbus, OH, for the development of Greenway Vista, a 312-unit multifamily project. 

Greenway Vista is located in close proximity to Rickenbacker Airport, which is one of the US’s largest cargo-dedicated airports and has experienced a continued increase in cargo handled since 2013; 48% of the US population and 33% of the Canadian population are within a 10-hour drive from Rickenbacker Airport. 45% of Rickenbacker’s employees commute less than 10 miles from the Airport. The southeast Columbus industrial submarket (the largest industrial submarket in Columbus) features over 78 million SF with over 2 million SF of space under construction; Rickenbacker Airport and the surrounding warehouses employ over 16,000 workers.

Anduril is currently under construction on an advanced manufacturing facility 10 miles southwest of Greenway Vista. According to a State of Ohio press release, Anduril aims to “rebuild the arsenal” of U.S. military weapons and platforms by hyper-scaling manufacturing with advanced software and production technologies. The Ohio facility will strengthen the state’s position as a nationwide leader in the development of better, faster, and more affordable critical national defense products to help the United States deter, defend, and lead in the world’s great power competition. Anduril’s investment of more than $1 billion will create over 4,000 direct jobs and represents the single largest job creation and new payroll project in the State of Ohio’s history.

Greenway Vista will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes averaging approximately 840 square feet. Designed by Columbus-based ArchAll Architects, the garden-style apartments will feature an elevated living experience not currently offered in the submarket: stainless steel appliances, 9-foot ceilings, granite countertops, kitchen tile backsplashes, vinyl plank flooring, and in-unit washers and dryers. Greenway Vista will also feature an expansive 6,500 SF clubhouse with fitness and business centers, a resort-style swimming pool with cabanas and grilling area, a large central green area with gameday pavilion and grilling areas, a community garden, and a pet park.

The Project will have direct access to the Blacklick Greenway Trail. The trail winds 12 miles along Blacklick Creek, from Blacklick Woods Metro Park in Reynoldsburg to Three Creeks Park.
