Alex Barroso

Alex joined Vista Residential Partners in 2021 as President of Development for the Mid-Atlantic. In this role, Alex is responsible for overseeing all aspects of development in the Mid-Atlantic region including site acquisitions, financial analysis, development oversight and dispositions. Alex brings more than 24 years of experience to Vista Residential Partners and his experience spans across the development of several product types including affordable and market rate apartment communities. His experience in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic total over 10,000 units in 40 communities with a capitalization of over $3.0 billion.

Prior to joining Vista Residential Partners, Alex was the President of Development for the Mid-Atlantic/SE for The Bainbridge Companies where he was responsible for the development, construction and disposition of over 2,000 units.

Alex holds a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. Alex maintains a license as a Florida certified general contractor.
